Prakash Menezes is a global-minded management professional whose engagement with everyone from business owners to C-level executives has driven consistent results across numerous markets. Born in India, educated in the U.S., and broadened by experiences throughout the Middle East, Asia, and Africa, Prakash combines hands-on experience with rigorous academic training to define complex problems and provide innovative solutions. Spurred by his drive to bring integrity, positivity, and emotional intelligence to each of his projects, Prakash sees the next phase of his career not in terms of titles, but in terms of greater opportunities to face critical challenges.

 

Prakash began his career with AT&T as a Retail Sales Representative in Reston, VA, and was quickly promoted to Retail Sales Manager. By closely studying store operations and strategizing sales development techniques, he transformed an under performing location into one of the top 10 stores in the market. From there, he was selected by the Director of Sales to create a team of representatives tasked with growing the company’s Small Business Segment. Through team building, communication, and sharp decision making, his efforts achieved tremendous success throughout the market. 

 

From those first few roles to his current one as National Sales Director, Prakash has demonstrated a consistent ability to exceed organizational expectations. As the Area Retail Sales Manager for Small Business, he achieved sales and profit goals that stoked exponential growth within the segment and provided significant support to the company’s national objectives. The team he managed as a Federal Acquisitions Sales Manager exceeded sales targets on a yearly basis, maintained YOY growth, and secured numerous opportunities for expansion.

 

Prakash has ushered in such achievements not only through his ability to strategize and execute winning plans, but through his aptitude for nurturing high performing talent. He considers his subordinates as nothing less than teammates, creating a hospitable environment for them to pursue innovation and empowering them with the tools they need to drive results. Multiple people under his tutelage have gone on to be promoted to leadership roles throughout the organization.

 

By consistently seeking challenges that exceed his day-to-day responsibilities, Prakash has closed critical gaps within AT&T’s business structure, created a sense of fulfillment for his team, and set a personal bar of achievement that is constantly being raised.
